Default Heater units (flexalite)

Hey all, sorry, accidently posted this in the tech forum... don't know how. Anyways still working on the '68. We want to simplify everything. We had our engine made with A/C but realized we've never used it! Off it goes most likely. So to clean stuff up we're thinking about the Flexalite mojave unit. (http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/html/mojave-heater.html)

Anyone ever used one or know of something better?

Thanks a ton!

I'm going the other way. This '75 was factory air but now it's naked ACwise from the pipes coming out of the firewall forward. I work at night but at the moment it's a daily driver. Unless I'm driving in the dark, and maybe then too, you need AC in texas. What kit did you do the AC on the '68 with?

The AC in it as far as the interior is concerned is all stock. If your looking for an entire new system the only one I know about is http://www.vintageair.com/cat2007/39.pdf. I've never used it so i'm not vouching for it but it looks pretty solid. If all you need is the interior fans and w/e they might be able to just get you those parts without getting a new pump and everything.

I'm thinking about putting AC into my 69. Are you selling your old system?

Doubtful at the moment. My father likes to hang on to old parts like that, never know when they'll come in handy. But if we do i'll be sure to let ya know!
