Anyone recognize this Vette? (Ebay)
I've seen pictures of this car somewhere before. One thing is for sure this auction looks bogus as hell.
I emailed wanting to some see it, no reply. No Vin #. No Lic Plate #. Then yesterday they cancel all bids with the message-- "contact me prior bidding for the reserve"

I don't recognize the car, but I do live in Centralia. If you happen to get a hold of a real person and they'll let someone look at the car, I'd be more than happy to check it out. The auction does seem pretty fishy however.

I see they cancelled the bids again today apparently trying to work the scam of getting someone to send in a deposit. I reported this fraudster to Ebay yesterday and they do nothing. Apparently the scumbag is free to scam people because Ebay is too busy counting their profits to worry about little things like their members being ripped off by crooks.

Here is an email I got today from the POS--

do that.The car is like new ,in perfect condition, no marks or need for
additional repairs what so ever.The real miles onboard, a great car
ready to be yours. It has no accident or any engine problem.
The final price is 7800 with shipping for free(if necessary in the
continental US),since my brother in law works at DAS,and he promised me that it will cost me nothing to ship it to you.
I dont want to offend you by anything but if we are going to complete the sale we are going to use Ebay Purchase Program which will cover the purchases up to 20,000 USD. If you agree with my terms,i will need your name and address and i will contact ebay to inform them about our agreement and to start the program to protect us.If this is ok with you and you want me to explain how the process works,please email me and i will do that. Sad thing is the only reason they keep doing this is because there are people out there that still fall for the scams..........
