This is my problem, how do I fix it? Hooker super-comps, ceramic coated...
I just had to weld a collar on a set of "super comps" where the header meets the collector. It was not the only place ither. The car has hardly moved in the past 5-6 years from the new exhaust including the super comps. Several rust holes were at various places making Hooker one of the poorest companies for quality in my experienc. Weld them up. Thats what I did. Very thin tin! This I never expected form a so called reputable company. Too much money for junk parts.
you could paint them, but they'd just rust again. a lot of guys on the forum send their headers to jet hot to get them coated. from what i hear, that's a great way to go, and the prices sound reasonable.
