If your fender has the holes filled in, you might be able to pop out the filler from behind depending on how the work was done. This would result in you using the original holes.

I know, they should have waited for the C4's to drop the Stingray title. The fact that the '77 was the only year to drop the title but still have the same body (no slope glass on '77) WOULD raise it's value if GM hadn't made like a million of them.

The one question I've never heard answered is why did GM not put the Stingray name on the 68 but in the ads on TV and in the mags they say the new STINGRAY is here !!!!

Well I guess it's offical, all C3's are Stingrays This always comes up and we never really get anywhere. This is a case for John Z.PRNDL. I did see the Sting Ray in the manual. They really didn't have a clue, wait a minute, it's still like that now!!!!

Safety Car
My origional (??) script did not have any double sided tape. Speed nuts are a option, but somewhat hard to install in cramped quarters, and sometimes strip when trying to remove. I used 1/2" lengths of small rubber hose that fit snug on the alignment pins to secure to body. Holds well, and are easily removable to wax.

[QUOTE=saudivette;1560998549]You're entitled to your opinion, but that's why I'll be putting the scripts on MY car, not YOURS
You are exactly right!! It is your car. And to a non-Vette, non-knowledegable person, they might even beleive it!!!

Put 'em on anything you want - they don't represent an option package or anything else, they're just a name. I'm considering using a set on my '81. Unless you're talking to someone who knows Corvettes, most folks don't know when they stopped using the name or that it doesn't really mean anything.
VettePower, if the Stingray emblems look fake on a late C3, what's the term for your spoiler/wing?
Just raggin' you, man, don't take it seriously. No Corvette ever came with the engine I'm building for mine, either.

My problem is, being a Vette Person for as long as I have makes me think like a Vette Person, and the only responses I give credibility to are Vette People.
I see some Ugly-Azz modifications that Non-Corvette People think are just dandy. No thanks.

Boy, it doesn't get much better than that. If I had one of those helper outerers, I would go waaaaay out of my way to keep him happy - the old girl would be sporting the script before too long.
