Not an option.
63-67 were Sting Rays (two words)
68 is Corvette only, no Stingray fender scripts
69-76 are Stingrays (one word) with fender scripts
77-82 Corvette only, no fender scripts

They need to bring that name back. How about a 2008 550 HP Z06 Stingray?

A fair way off yet, but when I fit the egg crate louvers to my 82, it will also get fender scripts at the same time!

You are going to have to take measurements from another chrome bumper car. You will drill the 4 holes on each side, then put the scripts in and they will stay because they are pressure fitted.

The new one's come with adhesive backing. I can take a pictue of mine tonight with measurements if you'd like. Not sure if anyone has a template or not.

I'd be happy to. I saw a previous post that you needed the location from a chrome bumper car. Mine is rubber. How are they different??? Seems like the "Stingray" would be the same location. If that's wrong, please post it....gp

Somehow, IMHO, Stingray scripts on an 82 just look fake.......

Careful, careful buy the scripts first - I think it's only 2 or 3 holes per side, I could be wrong - they are 3M taped to the fenders. Been 2 years since I added them to my 81. Here is my two cents worth - all C3's generally speaking have the same body type - who can figure Chevy out when they called some of the C3s Stingray and later model years nothing at all or used the cross flags or "Cross Fire" on the fenders. I figured it belonged there and was an oversight by Chevy .

You're entitled to your opinion, but that's why I'll be putting the scripts on MY car, not YOURS

i see three wins here,- 1st- you modify your car to your liking and something different to see at car shows, 2nd- your gonna buy parts from a supplier and keep him in business, 3rd- we all will have supplier in business to order from and thats a WIN for all of us.

You can also put speed nuts on the studs to secure the emblem if you want. That works as well.
