Camping at the Rock. A camper with a CF banner hides the C3 that he trailered to the race. I did not get to meet this race fan. In the center, is my friend Fred "stepping out" with his 77 on the right. http://www.oosoez.com/curr-evnt/limerock/rk07-1022.jpg
I was at Lime Rock also. Won the second IMSA Lites L-3 class. Was a good day for racing in CT. On another subject, We thought this women looked rather different in one of the paddock spots.
Ahhhhhh where in the paddock do you take that jpeg? What team tent was that? I might need a further look see at their equipment, because I'll be back. (I took mine alongside the pit lane right where the one way paddock streets merge.)
My wife wants to go to the Bob Sharp school. My friend Fred said he went to a school from a Jag club when he began racing, not a pro school. I'm afraid she'll become addicted, and that could be ex$$$$spensive.
I think that may have been from a Formula BMW team. If she was a regular with a Lites team I would know. The picture was taken across from the pre-grid just prior to our race in the afternoon. We were about to get into our cars and we noticed the girl a little ways away. The level of female talent drops off from the big events $$$$$$ like American Le Mans, Indy Car etc and the tire girls (Kumho, Pirelli, etc) are usually pretty good!
The SCCA will have driver’s schools, but you bring your own car and it is not really the same as a professional school like Skip Barber etc which would be better to start with. It's not cheap to race, thats for sure but the big shows are sure fun..
