Whew, I'm in luck! I went to a local State Farm insurance and it turns out they go through Hagerty for collector cars, BUT for whatever reason, with them filling out my app, it got accepted! WOOHOOO!

I have mine through State Farm also, did not realize they went through Haggerty.

Might cross path with ya someday since you are in my neck of the woods, I like to cruise out towards Adrian, nice country roads around Tecumseh and Irish Hills. Make sure to .

Mine's the same way with my regular insurance company...from what I can tell, the restrictions aren't as bad as Hagerty's regular policies, either.

I've been denied insurance because I'm 24 and got a speeding ticket 4 years ago. I understand they have policies and all but jeez...
You answered your own question by saying they have policies.
The result of a speeding could be as bad as a DUI or reckless driving.
Say you are one of their good customers and they give insurance to 5 drunk drivers that year and they all have wrecks ETC, well guess who gets to pay for it?
You for being a good driver.
Its not the good driver who cause his own rates to go up, its the bad driver as so with health insurance with premature babies and 90 year olds who hold on for months lying in a bed with no hope of evey getting better yet draining the insuance company dry at about a $100,000 a month.
I got property and liability with comprehensive and a stated amount in case of total. $168 every 6 months.

Don't compare me to a drunk driver. I'm no idiot. There's a big difference between someone who goes 60 in a 55 on a country road and someone who drinks and gets behind the wheel. But I apologize in advance if my itty bitty speeding ticket makes your insurance rates go up

I'm paying $130.00 per/year with the same restrictions but I don't think I've put 3,000 miles on my car since I bought it
