You obviously dont know what ESU is, or dont remember from the last time,. I've extricated more people in 20 yrs from wrecks then you ever will in your lifetime and I've seen our local FD in action so I'm fully qualified to make my statements. I'm also a veteran of two trade center attacks, numerous building and structural collapses, high angle rope rescues and whatever else you can think of including hundreds of search warrants and 1 fatal shooting. I spent 9 months from 9/12/01 to 6/02 when the site closed running rescue/recovery efforts for the NYPD. So I've walked the walk, so much so that you couldnt hold my jock strap. Dont you dare talk to me about doing the job. I did my job full time not as an afterthought in between selling shoes at the local mall. ANd speaking of nasty I made my comment as did the others as a joke. Unfortunately you seem to be a full of hot air , know it all, nasty person so LIGHTEN up! I'll even throw a salute out to all the volleys out there, . I'm not usually into blowing my own horn but you threw down the gauntlet again, Sorry Glenn for the thread getting hijacked,

I salute you for all of your hard work and dedication, as well as all the other badges on this forum, both law and fire.
perhaps your guys eyes/PC moniters, are better than mine. I can just make out North ^%^ County on the boom of the fire truck, broadside to the camera. Is that Tocoma? I jsut cant make it out.
nice comments on the firefighters guys. until you have been on the job, and saved lives, you should keep your comments like that to yourself. when you get into an accident, or have a fire, you will change your tune when were coming around the corner. oh, and in case you didnt know esu and the others joking, 70 percent of the firefighters in america are volunteer, they work for free to save your nasty carcass. so before you mouth off, walk the job first, pull a few people out of a burning wreck, then shoot off your mouth. i truly hope no one was hurt, and thank you all firefighters, keep up the great work!
at first i was a little offended at some of the comments but you have to remember not everyone knows what we go through and the ones that do were just having a little fun. police and fire have always made jokes about each other. i dont think anyone meant any harm. anyone who has ever spent time at a firehouse knows how much crap we dish out to each other, so we should not be offended when someone else does it. i was a volunteer for a few years before making it my career. i currently work full time at two departments and as i write this i am still recovering from surgery i had from an injury i sustained while fighting a fatal house fire. i was unable to drive all last month. the good news is i will make a full recovery and can still enjoy my vettes and life. the scary part is that looks a lot like my z except for the aftermarket wheels and the damage. that could have been me at some point so the post is a good reminder that we should be careful while enjoying our cars.
And I assume you have something against us C5 guys?
I'm leaning toward an exercises rather than a real wreck also. Too many parts missing ... like the passenger door skin ... but if it was a wrecked car used for training ... it seems the chrome Z06 wheels would have been sold or at least removed before using it for training purposes.

best i can tell the last two letters are ca so it doesnt look to be tocoma.
i am still going with this being the real thing. a training officer would be having a fit over the air bag in the sand with an unprotected fitting. they would have taken the time to put down tarps to keep the equipment clean for training. with the real thing somethings just get left out. the door skins come off very easy from what i have seen on the c-5s i have delt with at accidnets. the jaws will just peal them off.

Hey FireChief, you had that comin' brother, after that last go around......where do you actually work? Do you have blue emergency lights and a scanner on your vette? We all appreciate the work first responders do, but you are not the only one on this forum, so don't act like it. Trust this, ESU has better stories than you and I, so let it go.
