You can get them cheaper than that, check Summit or Jegs. The one I have bolts to motor mount and bellhousing flange. The one on ebay supports tranny too, looks like it's not adjustable for just the block. A trailer rim and tire work well also, pan sits right in rim opening!!!!!

These work fine, I have had an engine for six years on one of these, and occassionally move it around without any problem. Get 2 for the price of the one on ebay..................

If you have a welder or can borrow one then build your own - these Summit/Jegs cradles are for the engine only, no trans support.... I bought one for $50 from Summit and then cut it up to make it fit engine and trans.... you can build the entire thing from 1" square tubing from the hardware store, probably $40 for material
I also had to buy stronger casters, the ones that came with the cradle didn't last because of the transmission's weight....
This will adjust to hold the engine with transmission, has casters for moving around. But... looks like it just sets on the 'slings' which will adjust for any engine, could also use it to hold rear axle. I was wondering if anyone has used one and how they liked it.
