I am looking for a little education on what the device is next to windshield wiper door actuator. It sits just to the left on the firewall and has some wiring connected to it. 69 coupe with a small block.

Is it the switch that the door linkage hits to tell the wipers it's OK to come out of hiding?!?!?!?!?

Post a pic. Could be the hood switch for the theft alarm. Could be a Bubba add-on.

Sorry, I don't have a pic, but [I]Sweethence[I] nailed it. Mine has wires on it. Bought the car a year ago and I haven't messed with the engine bay to much.

that is the microswitch that enables the wipers to move once the door is fully open

people at work think im crazy fro running outto my car and poping the hood to take pics
