I have BF Goodrich Radial TA 235/60/15 which are very close to the original tire size. Only problem is gettin em!

Ditto here - 235/60/15 BFG Radial T/A tires on factory 15 x 8 rally wheels. Look great and perform well on a stock to slightly modified C3. With more significant suspension upgrades, you should consider a larger wheel and softer compound tire.
