Thats HWY 1 I love that drive. I think its bixby bridge. I have always had the bug for a Vette. My uncle had one that was all mod's and man was it fast.. What a thrill.
We took Hwy 1 all the way to Crescent City...then on to Oregon...on the return trip,we drove Hwy 49 down thru "gold country"....great drive all the way...
my uncle came by our house with his new 73 4 speed.
he knew (even though i was only about 10) that i loved cars.
he took me for a ride, i believe we went up to eagle rock reservation and back home.
he owned that for a few years, and was his dd.
loved them since.

I believe this was ~Memorial Day 1978...my first brush with the Vette world. My HS Biology teacher owned a raging cool 66 roadster. Pic was recently "found" in an old composite. Kodak Instamatic...scanned and archived!
27 years later (Aug 05), bringing home my first...long stretch but worth the wait.
