Auto Trans not shifting
Hello all. Well my 4 YO daughter and I got up to go to get donuts this morning in the vette and started down the road. I noticed the car was not shifting. I tried shifting it manually and it will go to 1st from 2nd. It seems as though it will not shift to 3rd. Any suggestions?

I am having another issue in MY automatic trans.
When I remove my foot from the accelerator in 1st or second, the gears seem to release and I slowly glide to a decreased speed.
When I am in 3rd gear and remove my foot, it is almost like I am downshifting. I get a heavy drag.
If I pop it into Neutral- I glide fine, so I dont think its the brakes.
But unsure.
Should it be releasing like in 1st and second when I stop accelerating?
What may cause this in 3rd gear?

Just figure if we have someone who knows AUTO TRANS- he may address multi issues.

Vacuum leak and/or vacuum modulator. Inexpensive, and easy to change, one bolt holds on a clamp (like a distributor hold down clamp).
