power window assembly guide
Hey,i own a 77 corvette with power windows,im currently in a pile of **** as to how to install a new power window gear.Im looking for a complete guide on removal and installation and/or an assembly diagram

If so, on my '76 there is a thin plate that covers the motor that can be seen after the door panel is removed. Once that plate is removed, the motor can be seen. If the window is in the "up" position then you are in luck!! If it is down the it becomes harder. My windows were stuck in the up position so I was able to remove the 3 bolts holding the motor in place. Once those 3 bolts are removed the motor will come out with a little turning and twisting...etc. I also bought rebuild motors from Advanced Auto for $35.00 per motor.
I think the Installation Guide will tell you to remove the Regulator which is a "REAL" task!
