Default Heater core replacement

Have to replace the leaking heater core in my 72 Corvette, no A/C. I have quite some tech books and as far as I found out I have to get acces from under the right dash. What additional parts (gaskets, sealer...) should I get? Also appreciate any hints to make the job easier.

Here's the infor I used. With the exception of Steps 1 & 2, everything else was exactly like my '76.

Mine had a/c so its a little different...but I ordered a seal kit from Dr Rebuild, new heater hoses, new heater control valve and of course flushed the cooling system.
