tie rod question
just bought the front end kit from zip. it comes with 2 new tie rod ends. the question is, are the inner and out the same?? i want to replace all 4 but the bubba at autozone told me the inner was 30 bucks and the outer was 17? the look the same to me . are the threads left and right?

I call ZIP in the morning...I can't imagine why a front-end rebuild kit would be short two tie-rod ends.
Long story short...yes, they have reversed threads. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to expand/contract the total length of the tie rod by turning the sleeve.
