The actual car has a double-pump carburetor. The CG motor was something else entirely. Someone must have made a decision to do a CG motor at the last minute. Go fig.

Also mentioned "nice headers", im sorry, but when you look at the engine, you usually dont mention how nice the headers are, rather the intake, heads, or valve covers...at least I dont. I liked her headers though

The side draft carb engine was not actualy in the movie car. I did dig that scene a lot. I said "now THAT is a girl for ME". 
The Wife was not amused. 
The movie car was sold a few days ago on Ebay and it had a typical single 4 barrell carb setup under the hood. It went for $40K.

Well I've seen it twice now and had a chance to notice things I didn't the first time but ya twas funny how the CG engine was completely different than what she said it was.
She definitely did have nice headers though
I'm jealous of that kid, though. He gets a bad *** car AND girl! Only in movies I guess...
