74 headlight Bezels

74 headlight Bezels
I was just wondering what the headlight bezels of a 74 vette are made out of... Are they die cast aluminum or fiberglass?

They should be press mould glass. Early 68 were cast metal.

Could be either, although the metal ones are not actually aluminum. They're a white metal casting.

The die cast stopped on 73's in Dec. of 72 on most 73's but may be seen till Jan.73

69 & 70 bezels also had headlight washers standard. Unfortunately my originals are gone and have fiberglass ones now. Metal are hard to get and expensive when you can fine them.
