rear leaf spring
Hi guys,
I found new rear leaf springs for $99.99 from a reputable place, so i said what the heck i'll try them out on my 78 vette
. after installing them, i noticed when i put the wheels on they hit the springs. they were 1/4 inch longer on both ends after measuring them
. so i called the merchant, "Vette Products of michigan"(never again
) and they said someone else had called about them making his car sitting uneven. so, i find out they ran out of springs and ordered some junk made in india.What the heck do Indians know about corvettes anyway? I told them i wanted a refund but they won't reinburst me for the shipping charges 
$50.00 to me and back to them . I think that it's bad business with their operation. so needless to say, i ordered a set from eckler's for $30.00 more. cheaper ain't always better. Take care guys

Probably a good move. If they are made that sloppy PROBABLY tempered wrong and wear fast or crack from being to brittle POS's. Not a part that you want to second guess.
