What is everyone using on vinyl interiors?
Mine is black vinyl and I know we don't use Armorall but what else do you recommend?
Interior is like new, just need something to dust with
Thanks
Kurt
I like Meguiars "Natural Shine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant." It doesn't make the vinyl shiny, just a natural look and no greasy feel. It contains UV protectants. If you desire more shine you can apply additional coats until you get the look you want.
I like 303 aerospace protectant. You can buy it at most pool supply stores (for use on spa covers). Works good, protects from UV and doesn't leave a residue. 303 Protectant
In a previous post a member used Murphy's Oil Soap.

Yes, I have praised Murphy's several times here but Murphy's is only a cleaner that I have found on several cars to be effective at keeping OEM vinyl pliable long term. I had a '69 Firebird that was cleaned annually from new with Murphy's alone until I sold it in 1989 with no vinyl cracking. However, Murphy's does not contain any UV protectant which might be an added benefit of some of todays aftermarket protectants. Most older protectants were too shiny for my taste and had the greasy feel, I only recently started using the Meguiars after cleaning with Murphy's.
IMO, the best thing out there for vinyl is a product called "Nu-Vinyl". You can get it through True Value Hardware (you may have to order it, some stores don't stock it). Looks like thin milk when you wipe it on; it dries clear in a couple of minutes. No rubbing, no buffing, waterproof, sunproof, lasts forever (I do my interior in about 10 minutes twice per year), doesn't yellow and is made for vinyl. It just makes the vinyl look like it came off the showroom floor. It also works on rubber hoses (in engine bay). Need I say more?
