Default Got some more re-assembly work done
over the past few weeks. Here's a couple of new pics:









With any luck I plan to fire up the engine this weekend for the first time. Then hang the nose after i get back from Carlisle & final prep for the body shop

Progress is looking good. Hopefully all will go well with the test fire this weekend. I hope to fire mine tonight.

Please send me some details on your rad and support. Where did they come from, how was the fit and pricing?

The radiator is an aluminum direct fit from DeWitts with dual Spal fans. Fit great. The radiator support is the original. Had it media blasted, fixed some rot & painted it with POR-15 & Krylon semi-flat black.

Thanks Jim,

I received a message from Dewitts this morning stating his rad/fan combo is a direct fit for my 73 BB. I'll be calling him when the ime comes.

Very nice looking work so far. You will love the DeWitts setup. It will be peace of mind for sometime to come. I had my car out last Wednesday on a cruise and we were experiencing record temps in Tennessee. My car never got to 200 and and stayed on 180 when moving.


Keep us posted and keep the pics coming.

Thanks guys, finished setting up & testing a temporary wiring harness last night. Should be good to fire it up today or tomorrow
