So y'all say that jacks are definitely useful? 4 of them, to pick the car up? I figure that if those are worth it, I'll go and get some from Sears.

Thanks to all of y'all.
Sears usually has a 2-3 ton floor jack combined with 2 jack stand for about $100.....good buy for the price. I use snap-on & craftsman tools. A good roll-away for tool storage is also a good investment. Your tools should last a lifetime or longer. Take care of them.

A 5hp compressor will come in handy too.

And I say...AIR TOOLS! They are so choice. Which means: air compressor and associated hardware. Impact wrench for lugnuts, blower for general clean-up, tire inflation/gauge (aren't you tired of "buying" air?) , angle grinder and wire wheels (takes off surface rust pronto), and ratchet.
-30 gallon Craftsman wet/dry ShopVac- you'll use it every time you work on the car.
- Socket Set naturally.
- Fender mat
- Mechanics Creeper
-Telescoping magnet...I've used thing thing a zillion times after dropping hardware in hot/hard to reach areas.
- Cooler....for the beer.

I have one of the craftsman socket sets with the three sizes in a nice molded case so I remember to put things back in the right spot. I use the various extensions, converters, and bendy angle things all the time.
A xacto knife type thing.
A good worklight, with a plug on it.
Set of wire brushes of different sizes.
A mitiVac vacuum pump.
Box of latex gloves.
Lots of PB Blaster.
A Dremel tool. I used it constantly to clean and remove rust off bolts/screws and small stuff.
An angle grinder. Among other things, to remove rust off big stuff. :p
Two pairs of safety glasses. Two so you spend less time looking for one. Always have a set on your head. I never go under the car without putting one on, as my car likes to throw rust at me.
I have two pairs of mechanics gloves. One is a size larger then I need. I use those for the Dirty Jobs, and the normal ones for everything else.
Vacuum, fan, brooms, a case of paper towels, a pump bottle of hand cleaner and a couple small trash cans.
A workbench. I didn’t have one when I started, so I built a big sturdy cheap one.

I have to agree with the compressor and air tools. How I ever lived without them I'll never know.

oh...and don't forget the hustler calender for the wall...
Thats a must have when your really fighting something.

Just crack open one of those beers...take a peek at Ms. September and say "ahhhhhhh...that's better"

The craftsman set you listed are great. I am on the final stages of a complete restore using that first set.

Honestly I would skip the tool box if you get the first set of craftsman with the plastic box. I carried one of those around as my car set for five years. It's extremely compact, laid out well, and convient to use.
If you are really into this thing nice tools, are well nice. You can tell the differance using snap on,MAC, or even craftsman pro tools. If you are going to splurge go for things like wrenchs and screw drivers you use alot.
People pay alot for the Blue Point/ Snap on air tools. They are great, but you may use them once a month. I use my hand tools every week.

Optional but nice:
The air compresser
ratcheting wrenchs
Light weight aluminum racing jack. I've been lugging aroung a 70 pound monster for years. I switched to harbor freights al jack its so much easier to work with.
