Anyone know of a company that sells wheel spacers 3/16 thick that has a bolt pattern for my 68 corvette ? Not the universal type with the oblong holes. I'm looking for the type that fits snug on the studs and centers themselves. I just need 3/16 to clear the e- brake bracket. any more and I won't have enough thread left on the studs.
If you can't find any sold then contact a local machine shop. We have a place here with a water jet that could whip up a set of those in a matter of minutes if you can't find anything.
You could just grind the corners off the E-brake bracket.
I thought of doing that but I hate to alter the trailing arms if I ever want to trade them in for cores. I just bought a set of 3/16 spacers today on ebay, hopefully that will solve the problem. Thanks for the input.
Buy bolt-on wheel adapters. Spacers are a good way to lose a wheel.
I was thinking the same thing but they cannot be made that thin. Using an adapter to space the wheel out means a MINIMUM of a 1" adapter and he may not want the wheel out that far.

They would be too thick, I only need 3/16 of an inch. The ones I have coming from ebay should work perfect. They are usually hard to find in that thickness.
