Frame Compatibility
Gang - I searched and searched for a good answer but didn't find one (maybe I was using the wrong terms)
The body of my 76 is coming off in the next couple of weeks...i have no reason to think anything is wrong with the frame (matter of fact it appears to look pretty good) but if I've learned one thing with these cars it is that there is always a surprise lurking underneath....
So assuming my frame turns out to be rotted all to heck somewhere, I'm curious as to what frames are compatible with the 76? does "any" C-3 frame work (i did see some posts about the bumper areas, does that affect fit?)? will a 75 work but a 72 won't?
Appreciate the help - who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and this will be all for naught...

74 and newer should work for your car. Chrome bumper Vettes have a different rear section and frames are generally a lot more expensive since there are fewer of them available. You can probably find a good condition frame for well under $1,000 if you need one.
