Default Corvette Forum strikes again

I read a post on here about somebody who does plating of parts.
So I contacted the person; I am in Massachusetts, his business is in California, but I say what the heck,,, I will send my 68 original factory correct master cylinder cover to be replated in the gold iridite finish it is supposed to be.
Got it back today and not only was the turnaround time quick but the part is absolutely phenominal. As in PERFECT !! I could not be more pleased and will use this person again anytime I have a need. His primary business is rebuilding brake boosters and he has been in business since 1983 so he knows his stuff and his plating work is fantastic.
There are so many people out there that do half a-s work that it is always nice when you come across a true craftsman who knows his stuff and delivers quality.
His name is Steve Gregori and you can pm me if you want his business information.
So, once again the Corvette Forum proves to be one of the best resources available if you are trying to keep your baby in tip top shape or no matter what you need for your car.
This forum is a great resource.

Why not just post the info here so everyone can use it. Also helps when someone uses the "search" function to find a good plater months or years from now.

Muddy,
His name is Steve Gregori
his company is Brake Boosters Inc

his e-mail is brakeboosters@sti.net
I paid $35 for my master cylinder cover and it was mine, not a swap out as I made a mark on the inside so I would know if it was replaced

Duke,
I didn't know if it was OK to post the info publicly but since you asked, it is out here now.
This guy deserves our business.
I like the fact that I received my cover back and not someone else's
He said these covers bring a good price when they have the correct wording on them as mine does.
Good luck, hope you all are as satisfied as I am.
Kurt

Steve did a booster and a master cylinder cover for me along with some smog check valves. They came out great.

We would not steer you wrong.

I thought the price was rather reasonable too.

Kurt I'm sure you already know this but maybe since some dont and guys are getting this plating done someone should share the little tricks as to not scratching the top of the master cover. One way I do it is put the bale on from the side and pop it in its hole and "not" use the "ramps" that are on the cover.I'm sure there are other ways if someone cares to add them.

Booster Dewey did my 68 Corvette Booster in 2003 because I did not know about Steve Gregori until a wek or so ago.
I was very pleased with Booster Dewey as well, nice job, quick turnaround, no swapped out parts ( I got my booster back) and good price ($100.00)
