Ok, so I go out in the morning to take the car to work today since it's nice. Start the car up, let her warm up, back out of driveway. Pull emergency brake so I can move other cars around. Push button to release emergency brake and.... pop, button flies against the dash, and the spring just sort of sitting there.
Now how do I fix, I did the normal thing of just pushing the button back in with the spring but it will no longer stay in. Can this be fixed with a epoxy glue thing or do I now need to replace the whole handle thing (for $100 bucks) or do you guys have a trick for this.
Same thing happened to me on a 72 five years ago. I don,t remember what glue I used, but I glued it in and held it in place with tape while it dried. Never cane off again.
