Door panel Patch?
Is there anything I can use to patch a crack in the interior door panel as well as one little one in the dash? I don't want to buy new ones if I don't have to. Thanks

i bought a viynl repir kit from pep boys, most discount auto stores sell them for under 10.00 ,it comes complete with 2part adhesive all the colors in the rainbow and some patches, it also comes with directions if your wife or girlfriend wants to help it really comes out pretty good , you have to remember no one puts their face right up to a panel so you can get away with just ok if you are looking to save some money i had one panel profectionally repaired for 75 dollars it had a small crack in the arm rest the other panel i did myself after i got over the shock and i think mine came out betterat least know i have money for gas to go cruising

I've not had much success with the vinyl patch kits. It takes a good amount of heat to "cure" the new vinyl and that can damage the surrounding vinyl surfaces. If it's a very small area, why not fill it with some body putty or JBWeld [epoxy] and re-dye that area (or the whole part)? Just mask off the areas adjacent to the damaged area...to minimize any patch overlap...and fill the gap and level it to the original surface. As the material is hardening [while you can still 'work' it], use a small toothpick or plastic tool to "texture" the patch similar to the rest of the part surface. You can get matching spray dye or have some made up to match the part color.
