The trim plate on the inside of the driver door frame has a letter and a number code in the upper right hand corner i believe. it coresponds to the month and day your car was born.

Happy Birthday to your vette 694speed350

My '68 will be forty on 4/1/08 - thinking of having a B-party cake and ice cream to celebrate.

Happy B-day, my '69 turned 38 on the 11th of this month. I am curious about when you buy parts, do you consider yours a 69L?

Yes I do if it hadn't been for the extended 69 model year run your car and mine would have been 70 models.
