wheel fitment
Will a 17x8 wheel with a 4.5 inch BS fit an 81 Vette. I intend to do some autocrossing, so I dont want to take any chances. Thanks in advance for the help.

Factory backspace is 4".
The issues with the vette's is the caliper clearence..if the wheel has a flat face (from the moutning pad) then there's a good chance it will hit the caliper.
Theres a lot of wheels out there that fit perfectly, so not worth taking the gamble on a wheel that "might" fit.
