Old Style Wire Wheels?

Did a search on his posts and this is one of the people that honestly believes that if it is not totally NCRS correct it is junk! I just keep modifying the 63 SWC to the total horror of some and the big
I just brought up this thread again just to see what the latest was on the wheels. I was absolutely floored that this forum has turned into a bunch whose feelings are so fragile they have to run to their "ignore" list or the closest moderator about the "rules of engagement."
I thought that one-liner was funny.
I am absolutely apalled that it caused a stream of invectives, including one guy who needed to research my posting history to analyze my psychology. Since you are so interested, I'll clarify it, even though I don't owe anyone any explanations.
Yes, the pictures are my cars.
Yes, more times than not I prefer original design. However, anyone who knows me also knows I had a long series of custom cars in the 80's and always appreciated a cool show car. However, even when I had customs, I always felt that Corvettes lended themselves to extrodinary tackyness with poor custom choices. I occasionally make this opinion on this forum, although it appears no one informed me that only certain people's opinions (aka, "thats cool man") have any value.I have also stated that original cars tend to hold value more than cars with modifications. I never told anyone not to buy one, just not to pay original prices. However, people like 63Mako are the types to take every lack of "thats cool man" as a personal insult to his own custom. News flash: Mako and 82Dude... I couldnt care less what you do to your cars, and feel free to ignore me.
And if the rules are that you have to be in lockstep with each other in your opinions, well its another sad day.
I am truly disappointed today to find you are not allowed to kid around any more.

I must say, they did look like they were right at home on the Vette. Got lots of attention when they were on included the thieves.
Took them off when they no longer shined like when new. Actually thought about doing that again, but I'd settle for some PO2 hubcaps as a switch up from either stock ralleys, TTII's or Coy's.

Thats the way I took it. Playful banter as found all over the forum. I am still incredulous someone found the need to complain about that post, and a series of others had to wail about the horror of it all.

I thought it was kinda funny Vettebuyer
Anyway, take a pic of your car when you get the wire wheels on; I've been thinking about going that route myself.

I stand corrected.
