The seats are firm, but comfortable. I've been in them for 2 long (> 2 hour) drives so far and really like them . They are wider across the back than Corbeau A4's (Which I am too wide across the shoulders to fit in...) They are definitely not for anyone over 6' tall. I am 5' 10 and my head is really close to the T-Tops. Getting in and out with the tops on requires a few contortions. I have them mounted a low as they go using the supplied tracks. I don't think they would have been any lower using the C3 tracks. The top of the seat brushes the inside of the T-Top when you pivot the seat back.

I believe that these problems would be common to just about any after-market racing-type seats, and is not specific to this make.

In spite of the problems mentioned I'd take these seats over stock C3 Corvette seats ANY day.

I'm modifying a set of 1st generation Mitsu Eclipse/Eagle Talon seats to fit my 77. The width is fine, but they have to be cut and massaged to sit low enough, and custom brackets have to be fabricated to mount the seat rails. A total PITA, but I had the seats and they have great support. (They're the sport seats from the turbo models - the base model cars had crappy seats.)

Hey Jughead, what mods were necessary to put them in your 70? I like the way they felt in a C5 I drove a while back and would like them in my 72. Did you use the electrics? How are they on height? My hair brushes my T-tops now.
