As it turns out, I thought I bought a '73 long hood, tunrs out t o be a '68-72 short hood.....I think it makes a BIG difference in the value of a B-M hood.

It looks good just a tad short. A 73 would be at least 6 to 8 in longer. As they go all the way to the windsheild.

Thats a very nice Baldwin motion style front clip you have. Are you planning on fitting the whole thing? or just going with the hood? Ive always loved the Yenko/Baldwin motion creations.

I think you are right Len. Nice score.
Was it from ebay or a show find?

Ok you take Jughead's hood and I'll take your old one and everyone will be happy
I don't even have to repaint it for my 73

No way Brent.
Nice try.
I bought the hood from a forum member back in April. Drove to York Pa to pick it up.
I don't have the front clip, those pics are from the seller.
I'm keeping the L-88 hood for now. I rarely sell Vette parts.

nice hood, it looks a bit like mine: a high rise ecklers hood with a stingray scoop on top...also, apparently it looks pretty light too.

He can easily loosen the screws to the panel just behind it and adjust it so the gap is even.

This hood is a perfect example of how a part may fit one corvette perfectly but not another.

Hey Jug the hood looks great. I guess the pic might have been a bit off or it was a shadow as the rear gap looked much larger. Glad to see that it worked out for you.

I kinda like the other one better
to me, the b/m hoods seem to disrupt the lines
