Default Speedometer removal

Looks like there is a plug holding the speedometer on. How do you get that off? I already disconnected the speedo cable.

Also I think I broke the needle off too. Can you buy another one? It's for an 81.

Thanks.

On the needle, was there a pin on the backside of the needle?

If there is a pin sticking out of the back of the needle hub, that may mean the shaft that the needle goes onto broke off. That's a bigger fix. The speed cup would have to be replaced. I'll cross my fingers for you that's not the case. Other wise, let me know if you need me to look at it for you.

Yes there is a part of the needle left in the speedometer. How do I fix that?

Thanks
