My 82 has the clock also and no oil temp gauge, just oil pressure.

I'd always heard that all 82s had the digital radio and oil temp gauge. I guess you do learn something every day.

My '81 has an oil temp guage... it's not hooked up any more, but it's there. GM found it redundant to put a clock in that guage cluster when there was one on the radio.

If your 82 has the digital clock, that is an option and with that comes the oil temp gauge to replace the analog clock that wold normally be in the dash.
