BTW, mine are also Jet Hot Sterling coated. rosslato polishes his up nice before install but mine still look good. They are a nice match for polished aluminum wheels.

As mentioned above, Ceramic and Jet Hot are one in the same. But, the Ceramic is really primarily ALUMINUM. It's soft compared to chrome, but taken care of will probably hold up better than chrome. Seems to me the chrome ones always rust, and often turn blue.

Over VERY important item on the Ceramic coating... there is MUCH less heat transfer into the engine compartment, and the pipes cool MUCH faster.

On the sound front, STS baffles with the caps are about as loud as you are going to get away with w/o getting ticketted. They are too loud for some. But I am happy with them.

Also... be sure to get some type of cover for them, less you and your passengers burn your legs!

If your chrome is turning blue it is because your car is running too rich - lean it out some. You can easily clean bule and gold away with Blue Job Chrome Polish. I used it on my '69 that had chrome hookers that were both blue and gold when I got them, the stuff is amazing.

Steve that Yellow monster is BEAUTIFUL!

Where did you get those nice heat shields?

My heat shields are from www.cobrastuff.com. I got them well before Bangkok Dean started selling his. The nice thing is that they are coated as well so the finish matches.

As for being a monster, just a ZZ4'ish clone 350 right now. But I am looking at a 400+ SBC or BBC swap.

I don't know what my problem is. I thought about trying one of their other coatings, not sure. Maybe try their copperhead color, at least rust would not be so noticeable.
