Default 1970 Exhaust system question

Greetings!
Can someone tell me roughly the length of their front pipes -
from the exhaust manifold to the point where they intersect with
the mid-pipes? I have a debockle exhaust system.

Its a long story.. In the end, I am putting on the correct exhaust manifolds,
I need the front pipes from the manifolds to reach the mid pipes which,
I do have. When I cut off the 2 1/2" headers, i found there was another 20"
worth of 2 1/2 " pipes from the headers to the mid pipes, with a 2" reducer.

So, I need to make sure before I buy the new front pipes that they are
going to be long enough before I cut the rest of the 2 1/2" pipe and reducer
off. I also need to know if there is a 2" coupling that will allow the new 2"
front pipes to mate with the 2" mid pipes. Confused?

Thanks.

Rudy

Sorry Rudy,
Mine is a custom 2.5" SS bend and weld job from the manifolds to the mufflers. Otherwise I'd measure that sucker up for ya.

You might want to look at Corvette Centrals website for pipes. If I recall when I bought mine there were two types. The first kind was made like the factory. It was one piece from the manifold all the way to the back before the mufflers. The second type is to make it easier for people who can not lift their car up 6 feet high on a lift. It comes in more parts.
