I have seen a Vette with taillight blackouts but he also installed C4 rear lenses and bought C4 blackouts.
I personally don't like the look of them, and really don't like how dim the light looks through the blackout. I respect the time and effort it took to modify them and I don't want the owner of cars with blackouts to feel called out. Just not something I like.
It's also not a safe idea when you consider most cars won't be able to stop as well as your Vette and those lights are the only thing telling someone behind you that you are stopping.
