Coil over

Is there anyone who have installed the front coil over kit on there c3 ?
If so how does it ride ?

I have just installed the Semi Coil over kit from Speed Direct, I chose the heavier option springs and the double adjustable shocks and whilst I'm still fettling them the ride is fine very similar to the 460lb springs and gas adjustable shocks I had before. I have adjusted the ride height so that it sits about 3/4" lower to increase high speed stability, but I still need a few sessions to refine the shock adjustment.

What's the difference between the semi-coil over kit and the real kit. From the picture they do look the same.

Full coil over shocks have both ends of the spring located within the shock, semi coil overs only have the bottom located on the shock, the top is located in the stock position.

So for a nornal drive,a car i just take for shows and occasionaly i should go for the semi-coil over. All i want is to lower my ride a bit without to have to cut my front spings.

Yeah that would do it but cutting the springs is a lot cheaper!
