Okay, misleading title, but still a cool find. I have only lived where I do for a few months and still don't know many of the neighbors. Today I got home and saw the garage door open a few houses down and saw this brute sticking it's nose up at everyone.
The owner was not around so I only got a few shots form outside the garage but it's a cool looking monster.
So the owner was not home and you took some pictures of his car in his garage and posted them on the internet? I'm glad I don't live by you.
Nic car though.
Nice car but I wouldn't have done anything without talking with the guy first. I'd be a little miffed if I came out of my house or came home and found somebody taking pics of my cars in the garage; or anything else for that matter. I know you were just interested in the cool ride but you've got to be aware of people's privacy and what they consider their privacy to be.
It's not quite like it sounds. His Dad was out doing yard work and I chatted with him for a sec while I took pics. He said I was more than welcome. Unfortunately he thought I was speaking Greek when I asked him questions about the car and told him about my Vette project. He didn't offer to show me the car inside and I didn't ask.
Well, his Dad didn't think it was a No No and I did ask him before I took the pics and I explained to him I was going to post the pics to show a few buddies on this Corvette forum. Too bad none of them have checked out this thread, instead a bunch of guys crying injustice, when all the bases were covered.

Seems like when you cleared the issue up your "CF friends" would have let that nonsense go. Not around here. I picture an old guy in a damp basement somewhere with 1 lightbulb posting negative comments on every forum on the net. I get tired of the abuse sometimes.
Looks like a small block in that thing.. The carbs and the blower look brand new..
Cool car........seems some people here get all bent out of shape with a few pics as if you were taking pics of their wife or g/f naked in the shower
Speaking of older cars....I lived here for 9 years and a guy a few blocks aways from me has an old GTX in his driveway and I've been temped to knock and ask if he wants to sell it.
[QUOTE=Scootin_Z;1562306250]Dude...if your avitar is any indication of what you like to show off...feel free to do such activities any time at all!
WOW!

My dad didn't think it was a bad idea for my little brother to borrow my Harley to go to the store years ago either. When I came home and found it gone, I took off for the police station until my dad caught me.
It was three days before it came back from the shop, from where my brother had stripped the rivets out of the rear hub taking off from a light somewhere.
What the dad felt was ok and the owner felt may well be two different ideas.
