Default 68 brake switch found

Corvette Central has 68 brake light switches, part # 593034 for $55.
I bought one last night. It is not a OEM switch but will bolt on and connect like the origional. I found about this forum last week and the amount of information avaliable is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to dkeith for the find. Hope to help someone in the future with their problem.

Not a problem and glad I could help. Just an FYI, I installed mine yesterday and it works great.

You should go ahead and take out your seat and steering wheel it will make installation much easier. I also took off the brake pedal rod and clip, it gets the pedal out of the way. If you have any questions when you get ready to install let me know........dkeith

Default Brake switch install

On my 68 I've had the brake switch in and out so many times I know where the bolts are by heart. Just a little tough getting there. My back and side hurt the next day.

Thanks 68 vetteman
