[QUOTE=Road-Race Vette;1562385508]JUST GOT MY WHEELS IN TODAY FOR OUR NEXT CAR. ITS LIKE CHRISTMAS IN OCTOBER. CAN YOU SEE MY CAR SMILING IN THE BACKGROUND?
yes, that's a happy car indeed...
....these wheels look the business, they seem a top notch vintage one piece minilites replica, will you pls tell me brand/size/BS...?
Those wheels are going to look the BOMB! That Vette is looking at them like a little appetizer. I've seen that look before . Right before devouring a Cobra. Any thoughts on the paint scheme yet? Hope Santa will continue to bring it on. Should be an interesting holiday season.
here's mine. minilites , original company still in bussiness in England, reintroduced them in 15x8's .I got them from mainstreetmotorsport.com looks like he's importing them again from England.
Awesome wheels. I will get a set for the racer project as soon as I am ready for them. What a good looking project! What can you tell us about this one? By the way, just completed my collection of the 1/43 Vitesse Le Mans collection. Every C-3 raced at Le Mans...
The Chassis on the left row is 194378S410300 and those are its various paint schemes at Lemans. The vert row on the right is 194679S706401 and its 6 year stretch at the same race. The other cars are differing years and efforts and the whole thing looks fantastic...
Oh and they all have minilites too...

thanks for the die cast pics.chances are the new car will have one of those paint schemes.now about my car, original matching number 427 car 54k miles.3.70 rear 4 spd. used to be a mako (somebody tried anyway).i have completely rebodied car piece by nos piece. (cant you tell? the body gaps are better than gm's.) i was going to keep it original but due to the fact that i am having a hard time finding a suitable donor vert, i think this will be the next road race inspired brute.
Nice lookin project! I have a set of the 15x 8.5 on my 68 SVRA road race car. PS has top notch stuff! It takes a little while to get them from him as it is not his day job but the stuff is perfect!
Road Race: How much were the 15x10in minilites. One of the up grades I was going to do over the winter was to buy 4 10in wheels for it but was not sure how much they were going for now. Did you sell your other project car?
Also, I am in MA too! Where is your shop? Do you have space for any extra cars?

I've just spoken with Phil (PS Engineering).
TOP-notch fellow. I too had been Google/Yahoo searching for his site for info etc...But, he'd mentioned the site is currently being re-done (small business owner too ) So, He's sending out a cataloge today
(for you conspiracy theorists, I don't know him personally & no, I have no financial stake or ties to him, I am just probably going to buy his stuff after years of searching for OEM style, period racing wheels! )
BTW...Here's how I got a hold of him. PS Engineering 2675 Skypark Drive Torrance, CA 90505 (310) 534-4477
yes, frank and our shop are working together to build a bunch of these cars for street duty, one of them being for him( a street friendly replica of the car he drove for Henri Greder). The other one is the one you see pictured. Both will eventually get sold as our prototype already did.

..I am halfway there myself, they are great the C-3 Lemans racers.
the red number 4 car scheme for Frank Griegorian, and I may just do a variation of the car you have on your profile for mine.Keep in mind these will both be street cars. The cool thing about Franks car aside from the fact that it will be built under his supervision is that he has a lot of parts from the era that he has collected since the 70s that will go on that car!!!!(like marchal driving lamps etc...)These cars will be built and sold.(or heck they could be sold right now and then built, are you interested? )
