Default seatbelts...
so i am in the process of restoring the interior of my 1976 corvette. while removing the seat belts i found on the drivers side in the seat belt well that the floor was very rusted with some areas so bad it had rusted through. my question is how is this fixed? thanks

you have a body shop cut them out and weld in repalcements. They're available from Corvette Central I believe,, and probably Zip too, as well as Doc rebuild.

Without a plasma cutter, sawzall, spot weld drill, cutoff wheel and flapdisk it's a pain. I've done floor pans a few times and it's not a lot of fun.
