I want to check some of my vacuum lines for leaks and to see if they are holding the right amount of vacuum.
What do all of you use to check the vacuum lines on your car?
I found one at Steve's Wholesale Tools for $19 and it says its a Vacuum Gauge and Fuel Pump Tester. Is this what you check for vacuum leaks and pressure?
That'll work fine. Alternately, you can by a guage that also comes with a pump. It costs a little more but can be used for brake bleeding as well as pressurizing vacuum controls for diagnostic testing. I've seen the same $19 guage at Harbour Freight for $19 and Napa for $49. I'm sure somebody will chime in with the Snapon tool quality issue but for occassional home use, go the cheap route. BTW, I have Snap on, Craftsman, and China crap elcheapo tools depending on purpose.

If I even think there is a leak somewhere besides listening for it (sometimes difficult) I'm pretty liberal with a can of starter fluid. If there is a leak it gets sucked in and the engine will race for a second. Won't hurt anything and dries instantly.
If headlights and wipers (if vacuum operated) are working properly and engine is running normally and idling good, you probably don't have a problem but certainly testing it can't hurt.
