Hi this is my first post. I have been doing alot of reading. I read VBP was a good places to buy brakes so I thought I would give them a try. Received the brakes put them on every thing was great. returned the cores. Its been 5 weeks and havent seen my core refund so I email Janet(sales assistant) But she wont return my email. Has anyone else had this problem?

Have you tried to call them.... Pattie helped me out. I just returned my core on my steering valve but not sure if the refund has hit yet has only been a few weeks...But if I have a problem ill just call...
Give them a call is the best thing to do. Typically though, it takes weeks to get a core refund back. This is not just for VBP but others as well. Reason being is that they inspect the core to see if it can be rebuilt. You'll notice the core return policy for all companies is that the cores be good enough for a rebuild. They are a good company, just call and they should be able to help you.
Give them a call. With the recent big sale, they're probably a bit swamped. When I bought my front calipers, it was during a busy point for them, and it simply took some extra time to get the old calipers inspected (it didn't help that I was slow in sending the old calipers back).

Talk to Pattie, she's great to deal with. I've rebuilt my entire front and rear suspension with there products, you have nothing to worry about with them. They are probably just overwhemed from the sale as Batman said.
I emailed them with a simple question regarding one of their brake caliper packages about three weeks ago. I got a "read" receipt but never received a response. Took my money elsewhere.

might have been an autoscan (virus scan) program that read your email.
I'm not sure I would have walked away, but I do agree some companies need to tighten up how they handle emails.
I have 4 rebuilts from VBP, rear torsion and fg spring as well.
As said above, call them/. I spoke to them earlier this week and got the impression that they've got a lot of cores to go through. Probably backlogged.
Thank you for the good comments and also the bad. It helps to make us better. GMANC369 and NEOFENDER, I receive all of the emails addressed to sales, tech (I pass them on if I can't answer though), orders and pattie@vbandp.com. I checked my folders and have not received anything that looks like it might be from you guys, but I cannot tell without knowing your names.
GMANC369, if you will send me an email directly at pattie@vbandp.com and let me know what you name is, I will make sure it gets taken care of for you. I have a new assistant and a new bookeeper and we have fallen behind a little on cores. We are getting caught up now.
Neo-Fender I am sorry we did not get your order. Not responding is not the typical service from VBP. Sometimes we cannot get to everyone as quickly as you or us would like, but we try our best. I searched all my incoming emails etc and cannot find it. I think you mention a read receipt, what name did it come in under. I know we lost your business and for that I am sorry, but it would help me to show others they need to step things up a bit.
