I have a 78 that likes to dart all over the road. The tires are not the best but the do have the right amount of air in them. I want do put all new bushing in it. Where is the best place to get them and will this help it a lot or not?
Alignment or rag joint could be the culprit as well.
I used Energy suspension polyurethane bushings. I think in the end, whether you choose rubber or poly, it's your choice. Any corvette dealer or most speed shops will be able to get them for you. Check your local parts stores first to compare prices.

I would check that rag joint on the steering. A friend of mine was complaining about the same thing. I checked it for him and found the rag joint was so bad that it was about to break in half and you never see anyone checking these for state inspection.
I did not think about that. I know it needs tires but I thought it was somthing else there.
Thanks
I am going to put 17in rims and tires on that will take a lot of the roll out but will it hurt the ride much?
