Owner says everything works on the car except the clock! It has the original convertible top canvas is in good shape and dated 8-70. Owner says he had the car repainted under warranty in 1972 and still shows very good, but does have some checking and it has had some chip touch-up. He says it is a no hit Body! Owner says he recently has added a new exhaust, stainless steel brakes, and correct new reproduction F70-15 white lettered tires. Also includes the original jack and tools.
I was hoping to get some overall opinions on the car, based on the description and pictures. I also was wanting ideas of what the car is worth. I have arranged an idependent inspection by a "corvette expert."

Once there, type "swampmarine" in the search option. Photobucket will ask "Are you looking for the photobucket user swampmarine? Click here". Simply click at that spot and you should be able to see the twenty pictures I uploaded.
Thanks in advance,

I don't have much input except that it looks like one hell of a car! I can't even imagine what the owner wants for it.
I am sure some of the NCRS members will step in. Sounds like it is a great survivor and Bloomington Gold/Top Flight car.
I would be scared to drive it.
The front grill on my '71 has two screws along the bottom part of the grill and one in the top corner near the directional light. This car only has the one screw in the top corner but not the two along the bottom which I believe is a characteristic of a 1970 car. Not sure if this is an early '71 (and also not sure if the early 71's had the 70 grill). Just pointing it out for whatever it's worth...just in case it was hit or something and replacement parts from a 70 were used. Maybe someone who knows more about this can comment.

What a great car! Being such an early car you can see some of the '70 model year components. If you look closely you'll be able to see 1970 style front grilles, it probably has 1970 side louver grilles also, and most likely will have 1970 exhaust style tips too!
It appears to be a good one to acquire. Good luck
