It oughta run like stink. Don't understand the $7000 price difference, though. Regardless, it's outta my price range.

What hood did the original factory-equipped ZL-1s use? These motors use the same design and tooling, so the same hood should fit (unless the manifold is massively taller).

ZL-1 Vettes (all 2 of them) had a L-88 style hood with same fresh air package as the L-88 Vette. ZL-1 in Chandler collection is a PHONY 2 ZL-1 Vettes made, 1 four speed the other automatic just surfaced 3 years ago with good documentation. Too bad for Chandler and all his millions of dollars, it looks like he needs to go shopping now!

I saw and heard (open hookers) the automatic ZL-1 in Kissimmee at an NCRS show. Very cool. That car was ordered for racing and had just been restored to its racing dress. The below picture is much older before it was returned to a racing scheme. Notice the L88 hood.

Don't forget the 2 yr/unlimited mileage warranty as well.
See the "shown with optional equipment" and "less carb and ignition" in small writing? Add optional equipment, carb and ignition and good internals your @ $13,000.
