No harm done. It would only take five minutes to undo the headlights and grille shell, then you just have a vette needing a front clip. He probably just can't afford to buy the front end right now and decided to have some fun with it.

I agree. He got bored and had some parts laying around.
Looks to be easily undone. Maybe a few hours with a cutoffwheel and welder to get the rad support and frame horns back where they belong.

if you rat rod it....then leave the full body and rattle can black and get some steelies....... chop the top..........

Chop the top? Only Prince or Tom Petty would be able to drive it.
