i'm curious..... since all of the parts for our c3's are pretty much available, what would it entail to build an entire car from scratch. it seems that with some of the "resto" projects i've seen, they are basically almost doing that anyway!
you would still need a shell .and then it would be very expensive to buy every single piece of a car.You would be amazed at how many parts go to that car.
We are building a crate 69 camaro at our shop and you wont believe the cost of all the parts we have to buy new.Thank god for the donor car.
since it could be done, do you think that if you were a really good car salesman, you could advertise the car as the only corvette not assembled at the factory? Only C3 vette that is completly brand new?
