Mig weld and it's not a big welding so it doesn't get very hot and the gage of those track is strong so there's no problem of warping.

Ha yeah that stain was on the seats when I got them, and it stayed until I got everything fitted and mounted so I only had to clean them once. I have no idea what it was either, but it did come out easy.
